Excellent range for the price

We had a kitchen fire (bacon grease, lots of smoke damage, stove couldn't be saved, neither could the bacon) and I had to replace my stove. I needed something economical (insurance always gets you with the deductible) yet reliable and trustworthy. After some research, I went with this Amana range. I have not been disappointed. I am repeatedly impressed with how quickly the oven preheats. Be the time I'm done preparing my dish, the oven is ready to go. It cooks evenly and thoroughly, a nice change of pace for me. The storage drawer is quite large, which I appreciate given that I have a smaller kitchen. The range itself is very sleek and stylish looking. The top is easy to clean. I had to adjust to the set up of the burners as they are in a different configuration than my old stove, but that didn't take long. The display is large and easy to read. I also love the preset temp buttons. Overall just a great stove for the money.

Exactly what we were looking for. This unit replaced a range that cost twice as much, which was nothing but trouble. No frills (self cleaning, convection) just a good value. Hopefully it will last.

Problem with oven.

The day the oven was delivered and set up and turn on, for the 45 minute burn out, the enmanel inside the oven began to chipped. So Thanks giving was spent watching the oven to make sure the chip material did not end up in the food.

amana electric range

I bought this to replace my old electric range because the oven stopped working. I only used it a few times so far but it seems to work pretty good. The one thing that I would change would be the oven light, it would be nice if the light came on when you open the door, but you have to turn it on manually if you want it on when you open the door to check on whatever you are baking.

I place the order from Home Depot and the review was nice ! But when I place the order on July 26th, 2018, Last week got a call from my tenant saying the two of the back range is not working ! I contacted Home Depot and put on hold for 69 minutes until the line was CUT OFF ! The I contact AMANA Customer Service for Chat and with reply need to wait for 25 minute for waiting Chat ! You got to be kidding ! Still waiting now for 15 minute with HUMAN voice Service... My advice to the Top Management ( CEO ) treat your staff nice and for faster respond with the issue !

Wonderful fit for my kitchen

I have had my range for all most a year now. My kitchen is fairly small and this range fits in beautifully. I can say I truly enjoy using it everyday. I did have a problem with the control panel. I call for service and it was replaced within 48 hours. So, not only would I recommend this range but I complement the customer service I received.

My old stove had the knobs indicating which burner was for which knob. This is a 50/50 chance I'll turn the correct knob for the correct burner...usually I'm 1/2 wrong but I'll get used to it. All else is teriffic. Thank you.

After spending a couple of weeks looking around and reading reviews on different electric ranges i took the plunge and decided to go with this amana range! So far no complaints, the functions on the range are very easy to use , cooks great, looks fantastic, and very easy to keep clean as long as u buy the right product specifically for cleaning the glass top! Compared to other electric ranges it was priced a couple of hundred dollars cheaper with the same size of the other brands! Very happy with it, and worth every penny!

We got this range a few weeks ago and it really works well! We are very happy with the heating and cooking as with any change there are some things to get used to as in we went from elements to the conductive heat but it has not scratched it is easy to clean and it is pretty to look at

A fine, basic range.

I purchased this stove exactly a week ago and it has preformed well since the first use. Baking temperatures are accurate, and stay steady throughout cooktime, while the stovetop heats up within seconds and brings water to a boil quickly. The only problems I've had are: 1) While baking, the heating element will occasionally make a squeaking sound during the warm up process. 2) The silver knobs have no mark or notch to indicate which end is up and which is down. Overall it is a fine range, a great value, and I would highly recommend it.

There is something about Amana that attracts me. Maybe is the low price, maybe is the performance, I do not for sure. I had an Amana washing machine, then I bought an Amana dishwasher, Then an Amana refrigerator and now just got my range also Amana. The reason I give 4 stars is because it has minor defects, like the knobs to turn on has no marks so it is hard to see what position they are on. also when I turn the oven on it does not show me the time. The bottom were the pots go is not large enough and pots fall in the back of the stove. As I say they are minor defects to me. I do enjoy these products.

Product is typical of an electric stove

This was a gift to us from our children. This product is typical of an electric stove, but should've come with the scraper and sample of product to clean the glass top with. We have gotten used to cooking on an induction table top cook top and it is hard to get into the electric stove top again. If we knew that we were getting this, we may have put the money toward an induction top stove instead!

Radiant stove top elements are wonderful. Oven does the job. This basic model does not have self-cleaning oven nor a real oven timer. The timer does not shut off oven heating. These are the two reasons that I don't give a 5 star. If you want to spend an extra $100 you can get these extras.
